Team Building Quizzes
Team building quizzes are an important part of an overall team
building program. These programs can either be an outdoor team building
program or an indoor team building program.
During these important activities, a team of employees is formed to
achieve a specified goal. In order for the goal to be met, each
individual team member must contribute their individual talents and
abilities.

Individuals With Strong Egos
It is a fairly common occurrence for teams that have individuals with
very high performance capabilities. Even though these individuals seem
to be high achievers, sometimes the team does not reach their goals.
There can be a number of reasons for this but one major reason is
because of ego. Individual members may have an unhealthy ego that is a
detriment as a team.
When we use the term ego, we are talking about an exaggerated sense
of self importance. When multiple members of the team have big egos, it
can have a big affect on the team.
So what can be done?
1. Quiz your team goals.
You should clearly define what the team goals are. You should also
define the role that each team member is expected to play. In addition,
you should make it clear who will receive the credit for various
activities and actions.
If these issues are not addressed beforehand,
then there will usually be conflict at some point. That is just human
nature and must be taken into consideration. Each individual team member
should know their responsibility and they should be made to feel they
are an important part of the team.
2. Quiz the ego level of each team member.
Once this is determined, then each team member can be treated
accordingly. Of course, that doesn't mean a high ego team member should
be coddled. Balance has to be achieved.
There are other factors involved when forming a team that is
successful and can last for the long term.
Quizzing each team member
about their personality can help you to alleviate potential problems
before they actually become distracting problems.
